THE INVESTIGATION
This April 09, the team visited Landguard Fort for another big investigation. Armed with our arsenal of “ghost hunting” equipment; night vision, sound recorders, electromagnetic readers and communication devices, we explored the many dark and chilling corners of the fort.
It was already dark when we arrived at the fort and by then the warmth of the day had turned into a very cold starry night. The location was a plethora of sound effects that we could rationally debunk; the soldiers marching (the flapping flag against its post), the wind whistling through the tunnels, loose windows, flimsy sign boards and doors knocking against solid frames and walls and external sounds from the nearby dock workers carried on the icy sea breeze. We had to sift through these sounds whilst in the open to hear the more haunting sounds from immediate areas.
After a brief history lesson while the lights were still on
We asked for the lights to be switched off and split up into small teams to see what we could experience.
At regular intervals we would meet up to both warm up and update each other in the
staff room and also refuel on the o-
Of course, we had our moments of fun-

May 2009
Hoxton Hall left us with a bitter after taste. The place was filled with the overpowering
scent of wedding flowers from a prior event and our patience wore thin on this
investigation as the ghostly activity was at a bare minimum, with only orbs being
captured and few spine-
Unfortunately for Kyle, our guest investigator, his first paranormal investigation was not what it had been hyped up to be. However, he soldiered on and took part in all the activities.
During the investigation, we heard from our guide a tale of a jealously which ended in someone being pushed to their death from the balcony and also, the not so suspicious passing of one of the Hall’s teachers. It didn’t really live up to the hype, but we did however, manage to gather some usual bits of evidence.
