Possibly the oldest pub in wales, the ancient Skirrid is nestled amongst a haunting backdrop of rolling hills and countryside.
After an initial tour of the surrounding area during dusk, we enter the Inn and we are faced with a creepy but funny statue intended for visitors & tourists. Inside the venue in alive with locals enjoying pub-food and conversation in a cosy very traditional looking environment with exposed stonework, wooden beams and a spectacularly warm and functioning fireplace. In terms of atmosphere, this place ticked all the boxes.
The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming and once all the punters had left...HFT were left alone to investigate.
Our investigation of the Skirrid was yielded some excellent results upon reviewing the footage. HFT were able to retrieve audio responses to questions and even a spectacular electronic voice phenomena captured on our digital equipment.
Aimie Atkinson rejoins the team as an investigator putting her clairaudient abilities to the test as she investigates alongside founder Ary in creepy “room 3”. Also accompanying the team is a local acquaintance who has investigated and researched the venue in the past who was able to validate many of our findings.
